2-0 is the score

photo original source : http://www.liverpoolfc.tv

My two and only football clubs 'The Reds' and 'RedWarriors' did well this week by beating their opponents 2-0 in two separate games. Up north thousands of miles away Liverpool thrashed their biggest enemy Man Utd 2-0 to get back on track in the Barclays Premier League 2009/10 title race. While here domestically Kelantan FA defeated the mighty 'Lions of the North' Perlis by the same score in the Malaysian Cup Semi-final (1st leg). What a week it has been for me. and the color is always RED and will be RED forever.. come on you reds!!

H1N1 Experience ...

Got this from a friend through email. Just wanna share ... take care guys..!

The sender of the e-mail wrote: .....

High risk infection to person yg smooking, has atshma, children, pregnant woman

Beginner stage
Batuk, selsema, demam, sakit tekak, bila terbesin bunyi tak kuat...

Second Stage
Susah bernafas, simtom macam asthma but not asthma, at this stage if you touch the person, or breath in the same room 80% boleh kena...masa ni kena kuarantin...at hospital. Masalahnya sekarang dah ramai yg kena. hospital tak cukup katil & bilik kuarantin...Bila u pengsan macam nak mati baru dia org admitted.macam kes adik I.
Critical
Lung infection. Bila X ray we can see the virus covered the lung. Like my brother case. Very scary bila tengok x ray tu. At this stage u need oksigen with highest level, Strongest antivral..very high drug. At least 7 days oksigen kena bagi. % to recover depend to age, imune badan u. That's why kalau baby atau budak2 susah nak kata...normally die. My brother hari ni genap 8 hari..still need oksigen. Kesian dia. Masa tahap critical tu tercungap2 dia bernafas, sampai menangis..Sampai satu tahap dia berguling atas simen sbb dah tak tahan...sampai dia give up ..sampai dia blh cakap lebih baik Allah ambik nyawa dia...Itu lelaki tu..imagine kalau pompuan atau budak2. We all cuma blh tengok dia dari cermin...tak blh masuk dlm bilik kuarantin...Dr & nurse aje boleh masuh...siap pakai baju plastik. To support him, what we did bagi sms, bagi dia alquran biar dia baca so that dia tenang, bagi tasbih biar dia zikir ingat Allah & bagi Air yasin...Alhamdulillah pastu dia ok sikit.Ada hikmahnya...All the family member unite to support my brother fighting the virus.
Masalahnya hospital swasta tak terima H1N1 case, sekarang ni semua depend hospital kerajaan yg most of the doctors still young . The oldest dr in my brother ward was 28 years. All the Otai dah pergi private. Lepas tu plak this is the first time to treat H1N1 patient. At the same time dr bz with other case as well...1 doktor 5 patient...kat gov hospital...kesian dr2 tu...berhempas pulas nak selamatkan patient. I appreciate them, mmg very appreciate dia org jaga adik i dgn baik sekali..So far hospital Ampang is the best goverment hospital yg i jumpa..very efficient.Very quick action ..Even senior dia org dah pergi private & they don't have much experience , dia org tetap work hard give the best treatment to the patients..sampai tak balik rumah...tidor kat hospital.
Rasa nak peluk & cium dia org sebab selamatkan adik I...Thanks to Allah

Lina,
Nak dpt pandangan since u dh ada pengalaman. Apa symptom virus ni? Melalui pembacaan dan rakaman berita, seolah2 tiada symptom yg khusus terutama demam. Demam x teruk pun bole dp jangkitan. Boleh share info tak? Pengalaman family berhadapan ngan virus ini. J

.....

Reply from Lina

Take care & be careful with H1N1. Virus tu very strong...sape kena...memang suffer nak recover...No vaksin..cuma ada antiviral & our mental warrior to fight them. Very genius virus..Can hide in our body...difficult to detect. Only can detect thru swap which the cost is 1K above. Unable detected in blood as well. When they start action...Can kill the person if the body imune does not strong. For those have baby atau anak2, U & ur family do not go to crowded place, better wear mask when u outside from home. The vaksin will come to Msia in Nov-Dec. So far yg I nampak..hanya lelaki dewasa can fight the virus...woman might be 70% , children most probably will die.

Take care You & Your Family

Misteri bau aneh di kawasan rumahku terjawab ...

Sejurus selepas pulang dari KLIA menghantar isteri terchenta balik ke kampung halaman menjenguk ibu mertua ku yg sedang dalam recovery mode selepas operation, aku dgn imaan seperti biasa melayan kartun di astro tiba-tiba satu aroma menyusuk kalbu, menggetarkan hidungku menyelubungi seluruh rumahku. Puas aku carik punca bauan yang agak aneh dan meloyakan diseluruh pelusuk rumah namun tak jumpa-jumpa. Sampah dah dibuang, peti ais baru saja dicuci, bilik air masih berkilat, entah apakah bauan yg tiba-tiba saja menjelma dlm hidupku di ptg ahad ini? Macam-macam imaginasi dalam fikiranku. Aku hampir give-up, bo layan saja terus duduk melayan astro. Imaan seperti biasa beraksi stone nye seolah-olah tiada effect. Imaan memakai baju mamanya (pengubat rindu) agak 'focussed' dgn kartunnya langsung tidak mempedulikan papanya yang semakin konfius mencari punca pencemaran alam.

Entah macam mana aku ke luar ke porch kereta. Cuba menjenguk jenguk bawah kereta isteri ku. Gagal tiada apa yg mencurigakan. Longkang ku survey namun takdak hapa pun. Aku tengok jiran sebelah tgh membasuh kereta pun buat dek je. Mungkin hidung dia tersumbat rasanye. Heran ibnu ajaiban. Manala datang bau sebegini rupa. Aku masuk ke ruang tamu terus layan kartun bersama anak ku imaan. Dok tak sampai 5 minit tak leh tahan. Misi mencari bermula lagi. Adoiiii! Tensennn!

Memang idung tersumbat, langsung takdak effect. Bila saja aku bukak gate, ...

"..TUUU DIAAAAA!!"

".. TAKDAK AKHLAK PUNYA HAIYAWAAANNN!!!" ..

Ada 5 butir bom atom nuclear korea utara bertaburan depan umah aku!! MAK AIII!! ..

Ciss!!

Numbers are rising, ... keep counting.

"GENEVA, Switzerland, June 23 (UPI) -- The World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, says there have been 231 confirmed deaths worldwide attributed to the H1N1 virus."
(Source :http://www.upi.com/Health_News/2009/06/23/WHO-says-swine-flu-death-toll-at-231/UPI-25401245813265/ )

Wow! people are dying because of some virus attack on entire human population. The world keep counting on the numbers. Measures have been taken worldwide in every countries. This is serious. Fear is all over. Good luck to us mankind.

Well, where is the count for those who have died in a war? I guess hundred of thousands have died during the attack on Palestine for years, attack on Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia and many parts of the world since then. It was total elimination of human life made by human themselves. Yet nobody cares until it was too late too count. At the end no count, no nothing. Rough figures? May be. But the thing is nobody care. If 231 death is frightening enough and the world is doing what ever they can to prevent more deaths then what about hundreds of thousands if not millions? Its insane...

Anyway, just a thought. Keep counting.

'Finally it was the shoot-out'. Slgr 4 Kelantan 1.

Anyway bravo 'Reds' we went down fighting to the last minute. To Selangor it was probably just another final where they did their best to win. For Kelantan it was certainly a memorable night to cherish. Something to learn definitely. The atmosphere was 'electric' and i was there to witness it. Cheers.

Imaan's First Olympic Attempt

Me being a proud father on the day Imaan won a medal in her first olympic attempt.

My heart was pumping like hell watching my daughter received the baton from her friend to start her running down to the finish line. She began with a slow pace but steady run, made a 2 point 1 turn at a check point then a huge sprint to the finish line. Glorious moment for me as a father and mama imaan as personal trainer and coach. Well done imaan. You make mama and papa proud.

Haha! That was a bit exaggerating. It was School Sports Day. Imaan did win a medal. It was bronze. It was mistakenly handed to her on the prize giving ceremony. Hahaha! Imaan and her RED team actually lost, they came fourth out of four teams. Oh dear me! To see her running i knew that i was watching a girl with no athletic build-up running on that track more like dancing to me. On that day Imaan ran graciously on that rubber track holding a sponge that was supposed to be used for soaking the water from a bucket. Instead imaan soaked no water and fill the glass bottle with 'air'. Haha!!

Mama was shouting like a mad woman instructing her daughter to use various techniques to fill that stupid bottle with water from the sponge. Imaan did not take any notice at all. She just finished the race and nothing went inside that glass bottle. She ran back to the starting line dancing like a princess instead. She was busy fixing her hair rather than focusing on finishing the race. God help us! Hahahah!!

From that moment on we knew she does not possess any athletic skills. Haha. But she is our princess that is for sure!!

Well done my lovely princess! Do better next year!

From Papa Imaan. Cheers.

Kesan Kegawatan Ekonomi Pertama Yang Ku Alami!

Adakah aku dibuang kerja? Oh tidak. Ya Allah jangan lah jadi begitu ya. Adakah aku tak cukup makan? Oh aku hari-hari aku ditimpa kekenyangan yang melampau. Adakah anak bini kelaparan. Oh sekali-sekali tidak. Hanya isteri ku tercinta yang tak mahu makan. Diet agaknya. So apakah sebenarnya yang gawat buat diri ku?.

Takda pun.

Jiran tu pompuan. Iron 9!! Kebetulan semua tidur di tingkat bawah jadi agak sedikit gelap ditingkat satu. Wadus sungguh menggigil badan ku menolak pintu bilik di atas. Dengan berbekalkan doa dan kayu golf 'Iron 9' aku memberanikan diri menerjah pintu bilik air master bedroom ala-ala "american gangsters" heronya russell crowe. Namun apa yang ku jumpa hanyalah bayang-bayang orang memegang kayu golf seperti ala-ala macam aku. Oh rupa-rupanya aku nampak diri ku sendiri dalam cermin bilik air. Terdetik dalam hatiku, macho juga mamat ni.

Mungkin dia sudah lari. Beberapa minit kemudian, polis datang dengan 4 buah kereta peronda! Waja 1.6 enjin campro baru. Siap pumpgun bagai. Mereka memeriksa seluruh rumah aku dan jiran aku tadi. Gagal.
Begitulah kesudahannya. Pencurinya tak juga ditemui.!

Conclusion nye, memang real kesan ekonomi terhadap kehidupan kita. Kita mungkin tidak mengenali sipencuri itu, namun aku yakin dia seorang manusia biasa yang terdesak sehingga sanggup masuk ikut atap pulak tu. Manusia akan melakukan apa sahaja ketika terdesak. Tinggi risiko yang dihadapinya. Berkemungkinan dia menemui labah-labah, lipan, cicak dan sebagainya atau jatuh tergolek dlm longkang belakang rumah ku. Namun itulah kehidupan. Aku tidak ingin menilai perbuatannya. Allah saja yang tahu! Barangkali kesempitan hidup memaksa dia berbuat begitu. Adililah diri kamu.!! Tapi kalau lah engkau datang lagi, nescaya dengan beg-beg golf akan ku baling nanti! Wallahualam.

The Reds completed a double over Chelsea on Sunday for the first time in almost 20 years. With Manchester United dispatched at Anfield earlier in the season, and credible draws gained at Villa Park and the Emirates, Benitez has yet to taste defeat by a title rival this term. The Spaniard said: "We knew this was a game we had to win. With Manchester United beating Everton on Saturday the gap was five points and we just had to take three points. "Now every single game is important, but especially against teams who are close to us at the top of the table. "It gives us more confidence. It was also important to end the run of draws we have had. If you are talking about winning the title, every single point is important and drawing games always costs you two points. "Now we are happy, the confidence is high and we must keep winning. But even though we have beaten Chelsea, we must win the next one as well, and keep going from there. "What is important though is that we have not lost this season to any of the teams who are at the top with us. That is very important. "That is the key point If you want to be contenders and want to be closer to the title." (Benitez)

Having not been involved in Sunday's dramatic victory over Chelsea at Anfield, Keane travelled down to London on Monday morning after the Reds granted him permission to speak to Spurs officials. Once a fee was agreed between the two clubs ahead of the 5pm closure of the transfer window, it was then up to the player himself to pass a medical and agree personal terms with Spurs before the deal could be officially completed. Confirmation of this came just after 5.30pm when Tottenham Hotspur announced the transfer was a done deal. Speaking to the official Tottenham Hotspur website, Keane said: "It was a difficult decision to make to leave Tottenham in the summer. It proved not to be the right move for me. I know some Spurs fans will feel I let them down by leaving but I can assure them I shall be giving my all for this Club. This Club has terrific fans and I want to repay them for all their support. We've got to get on and fight our way up that league table."

So long keano !

A Song For Gaza by Michael Heart

WE WILL NOT GO DOWN (Song for Gaza)
(Composed by Michael Heart)
Copyright 2009

A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive

They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right

But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Lecturers All Stars vs The Rest of the World

Gaya si Shakey apa kurangnya apabila beliau menunjukkan skill skill yg bermutu tinggi 'out of this world' dengan menyepak atau tersepak kaki kaki penyerang musuh.

Ajey the old timer ternyata sukar ditandingi.

Setelah berakhirnya 5 perlawanan Team Allstars terpaksa akur. Kepulangan team Lecturers All Stars amatlah dinantikan oleh peminat-peminat sukan bola sepak tanahair. Tunggu sahaja perkembangan terbaru mereka.

Interesting Article No. 1

I saw the article in malay version by Zaini Hassan (Utusan Malaysia, Wednesday, 14th January 2009). I decided to keep this piece of brilliant writing forever as reminder. With that I managed to track the original source from www.masada2000.org/Powerful-Jews.html written by Dr. Farrukh Saleem an Islamabad-based freelance columnist. Interesting and therefore I quote :

WHY ARE JEWS SO POWERFUL?
There are only 14 million Jews in the world; seven million in the Americas , five million in Asia, two million in Europe and 100,000 in Africa . For every single Jew in the world there are 100 Muslims. Yet, Jews are more than a hundred times more powerful than all the Muslims put together. Ever wondered why?
Jesus of Nazareth was Jewish. Albert Einstein, the most influential scientist of all time and TIME magazine's 'Person of the Century', was a Jew. Sigmund Freud -- id, ego, superego -- the father of psychoanalysis was a Jew. So were Paul Samuelson and Milton Friedman.
Here are a few other Jews whose intellectual output has enriched the whole humanity: Benjamin Rubin gave humanity the vaccinating needle. Jonas Salk developed the first polio vaccine. Alert Sabin developed the improved live polio vaccine. Gertrude Elion gave us a leukaemia fighting drug. Baruch Blumberg developed the vaccination for Hepatitis B. Paul Ehrlich discovered a treatment for syphilis (a sexually transmitted disease). Elie Metchnikoff won a Nobel Prize in infectious diseases.
Bernard Katz won a Nobel Prize in neuromuscular transmission. Andrew Schally won a Nobel in endocrinology (disorders of the endocrine system; diabetes, hyperthyroidism). Aaron Beck founded Cognitive Therapy (psychotherapy to treat mental disorders, depression and phobias). Gregory Pincus developed the first oral contraceptive pill. George Wald won a Nobel for furthering our understanding of the human eye. Stanley Cohen won a Nobel in embryology (study of embryos and their development). Willem Kolff came up with the kidney dialysis machine.
Over the past 105 years, 14 million Jews have won 15-dozen Nobel Prizes while only three Nobel Prizes have been won by 1.4 billion Muslims (other than Peace Prizes).
Why are Jews so powerful? Stanley Mezor invented the first micro-processing chip. Leo Szilard developed the first nuclear chain reactor. Peter Schultz, optical fibre cable; Charles Adler, traffic lights; Benno Strauss, Stainless steel; Isador Kisee, sound movies; Emile Berliner, telephone microphone and Charles Ginsburg, videotape recorder.
Famous financiers in the business world who belong to Jewish faith include Ralph Lauren (Polo), Levis Strauss (Levi's Jeans), Howard Schultz (Starbuck's), Sergey Brin (Google), Michael Dell (Dell Computers), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Donna Karan (DKNY), Irv Robbins (Baskins & Robbins) and Bill Rosenberg (Dunkin Donuts).
Richard Levin, President of Yale University, is a Jew. So are Henry Kissinger (American secretary of state), Alan Greenspan (fed chairman under Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush), Joseph Lieberman, Maxim Litvinov (USSR foreign Minister), David Marshal (Singapore's first chief minister), Issac Isaacs (governor-general of Australia), Benjamin Disraeli (British statesman and author), Yevgeny Primakov (Russian PM), Barry Gold water, Jorge Sampaio (president of Portugal), John Deutsch (CIA director), Herb Gray (Canadian deputy PM), Pierre Mendes (French PM), Michael Howard (British home secretary) and Robert Rubin (American secretary of treasury).
In the media, famous Jews include Wolf Blitzer ( CNN ), Barbara Walters (ABC News), Eugene Meyer ( Washington Post ), Henry Grunwald (editor-in-chief Time), Katherine Graham (publisher of The Washington Post ), Joseph Lelyyeld (Executive editor, The New York Times), and Max Frankel (New York Times).
At the Olympics, Mark Spitz set a record of sorts by wining seven gold medals. Lenny Krayzelburg is a three-time Olympic gold medalist. Spitz, Krayzelburg and Boris Becker are all Jewish.
Did you know that Harrison Ford, George Burns, Tony Curtis, Charles Bronson, Sandra Bullock, Billy Crystal, Paul Newman, Peter Sellers, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Douglas, Ben Kingsley, Kirk Douglas, Cary Grant, William Shatner, Jerry Lewis and Peter Falk are all Jewish? As a matter of fact, Hollywood itself was founded by a Jew. Among directors and producers, Steven Spielberg, Mel Brooks, Oliver Stone, Aaron Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210), Neil Simon (The Odd Couple), Andrew Vaina (Rambo 1/2/3), Michael Man (Starsky and Hutch), Milos Forman (One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest), Douglas Fairbanks (The thief of Baghdad) and Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) are all Jewish.
To be certain, Washington is the capital that matters and in Washington the lobby that matters is The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC. Washington knows that if PM Ehud Olmert were to discover that the earth is flat, AIPAC will make the 109th Congress pass a resolution congratulating Olmert on his discovery.
William James Sidis, with an IQ of 250-300, is the brightest human who ever existed. Guess what faith did he belong to?
So, why are Jews so powerful? Answer: Education.

Goodbye 2008, Welcome 2009!

It has been 2 days. What's new? It seems so similar. Life runs as usual. Nothing new i suppose. Only promises, hopes and expectations of whats coming ahead i guess. You never know what lies infront. The only thing we can do now is look back and move forward. For that nothing is real in this world. Everything is not certain. The year 2008 has given us great lessons and indications of how life could be and will be for the coming years. Same old story. People come and go, life has its beginnings and ending. The purpose of life has never changed and will never change. Only that we human tend to forget.

'Man's life is brief. If one compares man to the vast universe in which he lives, he only figures as drifiting lonely speck whose span of life is a mere infinitesimal fraction in eternity'.

What we need is a perfect and universal exemplar who could place in our hands a guide to the practical life, so that we human may reach our destination safely. This exemplar did come to the world in person. Our prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace and blessings of Allah.

Lets us remind ourself as the past is gone forever and today is all that we have. Happy new year! Cheers.
